The small village of Saint-Georges-d'Hurtières owns mines of iron, which radiate throughout the Savoy from the thirteenth century. Local farmers availing itself of the "customary law" which allows them to go in search of precious vein and make their own farm ... opens a world where "iron" and "know how" intertwined.
Program:
In the hamlet of the Mine, a village of peasants and miners, people are busy around the mine. Miners, stragglers, roasters, crushers, blacksmiths conduct their mining and metallurgical but village life and work of the fields to continue the population.
The small mining world is in turmoil because of the master falconers are transient and settled with them and the rhythm Ferial de Saint-Georges-d'Hurtières. In addition, coal Jura come share their lessons and knowledge on wood carbonization.
