1985, Queens NY: the beef enters the rap. This technique involves creating rivalries between mc as well as the battle between b-boyz. The most frequent beef leads to "diss songs" Music used to insult the other MC. One of the most legendary is the beef in the neighborhood who saw the birth of the Hip-Hop. MC Shan, a native of Queens and near the Juice Crew, released the track "The Bridge" prod by Marley Marl, which track the praises of their neighborhood that they were born.
