1986, Phily: the first stirrings of the rap out of NY are felt throughout the country. Schooly D released an album whose eponymous song "PSK" (his original crew Park Side Killers), not to mention "Gucci Time" will become a classic for a generation. First time a single off New York has such an impact. The lyrics speak very provocative murder and whore cram a step in the radicalization.
