1990, Florida, Ontario and Canada: Jack Thompson, lawyer and Christian fundamentalist, is campaigning against the album "As Nasty As They Want to Be" 2 Live Crew in the state Florida. He gets the ban in Pre-cited states. Despite this prohibition, this controversy has been a real PR coup for the Miami crew allowing them to sell over 2 million copies. In 92, the federal court in Atlanta overturned the decision with the support of the Supreme Court.
