Carolina Cookie Company

Rap growing media - 1993

1993, media: launch of VIBE magazine, under the guidance of Quincy Jones following the failure of the acquisition of The Source in collaboration with Russell Simmons and Warner Bros.. VIBE's mission was to compete with The Source magazine by offering a premium on black culture like a Rolling Stone. Simmons left the adventure before leaving the magazine complaining that no African American was not part of writing while Carol Smith of Parenting magazine, took the lead and Jonathan Van Meter, homosexual White took the writing.
